My absence from writing has been for many reasons and thankfully they are all really good and happy ones. After a whirlwind of general life this year, I’m very ready to snuggle up under a comfy blanket and reflect on how much has changed.

Everyone loves a lobster, they probably hold the secret to eternal life – so really we probably shouldn’t eat them, I don’t eat them because the green stuff in’em gave me food poisoning and UC, but that’s not the focus of this post.
Lobsters go through a continual growth process throughout their lives *DUH* I hear you say…all animals grow, true but not all animals do it like the lobster has to.

It’s World Mental Health Day, which inspired me to write about something I feel quite passionate about…our complex noggins!
It really is a sign of the times that today in my office we all wore different hats (cat ears, crowns, shark heads and beanies), to raise money and show support for this day and the importance of good mental well-being. A few years ago most companies would only celebrate Red Nose Day, but now – finally – mental health is making it into the norm, making it into the mainstream. All be it slowly!
